    G'day Brock,
No. 1 for me . Kind of a traditional look about it. No. 3 ...well...he looks like he's building a strange sort of guitar. Wonder if he remembered to cook the top! ,and what's that clamp doing?
No.1 .....Plus Craig's new inlay. Man O Man!
      It's all looking good!

Living in the "extremely" mountainous region that is known as Northwest Ohio, I have to say that #1 is very appropriate. Incidentally, for those of you who don't live here, this area, on the shores of Lake Erie, is known as the Black Swamp.

I like the clean lines of #1 as a label. Make the mountains more rolling (as was suggested elsawhere) and you have the spirit you want, IMHO.

Regards, Steve Brown

Hey Brock, I like those labels a lot but I think with a few more attempts you will find something that really fits you.

unlike Colin, I perfer to see a label inside and dont care for headstock logo`s as much.

On my label, I have a nautical theme. My label has a guitar in a bottle, like a ship in a bottle, which feels appropriate due to the fact that I live on cape cod, and have ship building in my family history.

I think the first one is a little more universal...it is tough to upsell when your logo is the farm. I dont think it matters as much where you are from as what you are communicating...The first logo mentions Poling Guitars...the second makes no mention of guitars. Additionally because "Poling Guitars" is on a clear background it is seen more clearly than the second where the rays of light partially obscure or draw attention from Poling.

My issue with the third one is that there is so much going on in the scene that it takes attention away from Poling and Guitars...

If logos noted where you were from then Mike Gurian's guitars would have been of a storefront flat which was what he was in in lower Manhatten when I first met him in the early seventies...

Brock I waited a day to respond so that I could look at them a while. I am still a bit stuck between the first and third.

The first is easy on the eyes and the third infers luthierie a bit more.

If I had to pick for you I would go with the first. Because I like the oval better and the graphics are not over-whelming. However I got to say that the first label brings the Colorado Rockies to mind, but I still like it better.I am assuming that the blank field at the bottom of the oval on the first, is for your signature.

Brock,
This guy is fantastic! Did he do this on a computer or drawing by hand? The guy really has talent. I vote for #1 with softened moutains. I hope you never move from Columbus, Ohio, or you will be need to remake all of your labels again

Yeah, the guitar pictured in my avatar is the only guitar that I tried a headstock logo on, i felt almost guilty putting my name on there considering how well the guy plays.

Brock,

I'm sorry to chime in so late, but if your designer is willing to try one more, how about this: From label #2, have him bring that background fence forward and lean a guitar against it (probably just part of a neck and the headstock--your headstock-- showing, so viewers can imagine any body style), with the plowed field behind it and maybe including something else that indicates the agricultural nature of your area. Then you'd have a label that connects with where you're from, what you do, and shows that a guitar fits just about anywhere.
